Managing Your Profile: Account, Brands, Teams, and Companies

Your Profile page is where everything about *you* lives — your account and security details, your brands, your teams, and your company profiles. This guide walks through each section.

Managing Your Profile: Account, Brands, Teams, and Companies

Your Profile page is your personal home in Markolé. It contains everything tied to you as a user: your identity, your security settings, the brands you have access to, the teams you belong to, and the company profiles you manage.

For anything related to platform behavior — guidance preferences, AI agent access, or billing — see Settings: Guidance, MCP Access, and Billing.

1. Opening Your Profile

Click your avatar in the top-right corner and choose Profile, or pick Profile from the primary navigation panel. You’ll land on a single page split into clearly labeled sections.

2. Account and Security

This section covers your personal identity:

  • Name, display name, and email — keep these current so collaborators recognize you and notifications reach the right inbox.
  • Password and authentication — change your password and review active sessions if available.
  • Profile photo — used in team displays and brand audit trails.

We recommend reviewing this section once when you sign up and any time you change roles or organizations.

3. Your Brands

This section lists every brand you have access to, across all your teams. From here you can:

  • Open any brand to jump straight into its DNA Studio or Visual Studio.
  • See your role on each brand (Admin, Editor, or Viewer).
  • Identify your personal team’s brands — brands created in your own personal workspace appear here too.

If you don’t see a brand you expect, check that you’ve been added to the right team (see below) or ask the team admin to grant you access.

4. Your Teams

Teams are how Markolé organizes brand ownership and collaboration. In this section you can:

  • See every team you belong to along with your role on each.
  • Switch active team when working across multiple organizations.
  • Invite new members to teams where you have admin rights (see How to Invite and Manage Team Members for full details).

Every user has a personal team that is created automatically and that they alone control — this is also where MCP-created brands default to.

5. Company Profiles

Company profiles capture the basic identity of the businesses behind your brands: legal name, industry, size, and any context that helps Markolé tailor guidance and generated content.

From this section you can:

  • Create a new company profile when adding a brand for a new business.
  • Edit existing profiles to keep details accurate.
  • Associate profiles with brands so brand-building work has the right business context.

If you used to find Company Profiles under Settings, they live here now — alongside your other identity-related data.

6. Where Things Used to Be

Markolé recently split the old combined Settings page into two pages:

  • Profile (this page) — everything about you, your brands, your teams, and your companies.
  • Settings — guidance preferences, MCP access, and billing.

If you’re looking for something you remember from the old Settings page and don’t see it here, it has likely moved to the new Settings page.
